FAQ

It is a physical dedicated server, also known as bare metal, that is already assembled, tested, and available in stock for fast provisioning.

In these cases, activation can take place within a few minutes, depending on availability, order validation, and operational support hours.

Servers marked with activation within up to 30 minutes are provisioned within up to 30 minutes during business hours.

Orders placed outside business hours may be activated within up to 24 hours.

Servers with an activation time of up to 72 hours are systems that require additional preparation, installation, or configuration, and are activated within that timeframe.

ServerSP dedicated servers are available in data centers in Brazil and the United States.

In São Paulo, we use infrastructure at Ascenty Osasco.

In Miami, we use infrastructure at Digital Realty.

Each plan may vary depending on the configuration, but dedicated servers may include:

  • A physical server dedicated to the customer;
  • Root or equivalent administrative access;
  • iDRAC / IPMI for remote management;
  • Remote KVM console;
  • IPv4 and IPv6 included according to the plan;
  • Network port according to the contracted offer;
  • Network infrastructure monitoring;
  • 24/7 ticket-based support for infrastructure incidents.

Management is performed through iDRAC / IPMI, accessible via a support VPN.

Through iDRAC, you can perform actions such as powering on, powering off, rebooting, accessing the remote KVM console, mounting ISO images, and reinstalling the operating system.

The customer has administrative control over the server and the installed operating system.

Yes. Since the dedicated server provides full access to the hardware, you can install the operating system of your choice through iDRAC / IPMI access and the remote KVM console.

You may also use your own ISO images, as long as they are compatible with the contracted hardware.

No. By default, ServerSP dedicated servers are offered as unmanaged services.

ServerSP is responsible for the physical infrastructure, network, connectivity, power, and availability of the environment.

Operating system administration, applications, databases, internal security, updates, and server configurations are the customer’s responsibility.

Yes. ServerSP provides basic protection against L3/L4 DDoS attacks.

In cases where attacks affect the stability of the network or other customers, a temporary null route may be applied automatically or manually, depending on the severity of the attack.

Yes. Outbound traffic on port 25 is filtered by default to protect the reputation of our IP addresses and reduce spam or abuse cases.

If you need to send emails directly from the server, you may request an analysis to unblock email ports by contacting our support team.

Yes. Every plan includes an IPv4 /29 block and an IPv6 /64, unless otherwise stated in the offer.

Additional IPv4 blocks may be ordered depending on availability and technical justification.

Yes. ServerSP offers support for BGP and BYOIP for customers who want to announce their own IPv4 or IPv6 blocks, subject to technical review and availability at the contracted location.

Yes. You may request upgrades for RAM, SSD/NVMe drives, storage, and uplink capacity, depending on the technical availability of the contracted model.

Some upgrades may require a maintenance window, server shutdown, or physical component replacement.

Each dedicated server includes 1Gbps bandwidth with traffic subject to a Fair Usage Policy (FUP).

We do not apply a fixed monthly transfer quota; however, usage must remain within appropriate standards to maintain network stability and quality.

Excessive usage includes continuous or recurring link saturation, usage incompatible with the profile of the contracted plan, or any usage that may impact the network infrastructure.

If your project requires more capacity, we can provide dedicated IP transit according to your needs, either in a FLAT model, with dedicated bandwidth and a fixed monthly price, or in a Burst model, with additional capacity for traffic peaks.

Enterprise dedicated servers may include redundant power supplies, depending on the contracted model.

When available, equipment may be connected to independent power circuits for greater availability.

Yes. Additional licenses may be ordered depending on availability, such as cPanel, Plesk, Windows Server, CloudLinux, and other solutions related to hosting and server administration.

Backup is not included by default with dedicated servers, unless expressly stated in the contracted offer.

We recommend that customers maintain their own external backup policy, especially for critical data, databases, applications, and production environments.

ServerSP provides 24/7 ticket-based support for incidents related to infrastructure, network, connectivity, power, and server access.

Requests related to the operating system, applications, databases, internal security, scripts, or customer-specific configurations are not part of the standard managed support scope.

Yes. You can start with monthly billing to validate the server and later migrate to a 12, 24, 36, or 48-month commitment to obtain commercial discounts.

Monthly plans do not have a contract commitment, unless otherwise stated in the offer.

Contracts with discounts based on a 12, 24, 36, or 48-month commitment have specific commercial conditions, including cancellation rules according to the proposal or signed contract.

No. Due to the nature of the service and the resources involved in provisioning, reserving, and activating physical dedicated servers, we do not offer refunds after the server has been provisioned.

We recommend that you carefully review your order before completing the purchase.

If you have any questions before ordering, please contact our sales or support team.
