A Cloud VPS is a virtual private server hosted in the cloud with dedicated resources, root access, and full control over the operating system. It may also be referred to as VPS Hosting, KVM VPS, Cloud Server, Virtual Server, or Cloud VM.
With a Cloud VPS, you can host websites, business systems, databases, APIs, applications, VPNs, email servers, hosting control panels, development environments, and other projects that require more control than shared hosting.
ServerSP Cloud VPS plans use KVM virtualization, SSD NVMe storage, and high-performance infrastructure in data centers located in Brazil and the United States.
In practice, these terms refer to virtual servers created on top of a high-performance physical infrastructure.
VPS stands for Virtual Private Server and is the traditional term. Cloud VPS, VPS Hosting, Cloud Server, and Cloud VM are modern ways to describe a cloud-based virtual machine with isolated resources, a control panel, remote access, and the ability to scale as your project grows.
At ServerSP, we use the term Cloud VPS because it combines the flexibility of a cloud server with the control and predictability of a KVM VPS.
A Cloud VPS can be used for many types of projects, from websites and online stores to business applications, internal systems, databases, email servers, automation tools, VPNs, bots, APIs, and testing environments.
Because it provides root access and dedicated resources, Cloud VPS hosting is ideal for users who need more freedom, performance, and control than traditional shared hosting.
You can install your preferred operating system, configure services, define firewall rules, host your own applications, and manage the server according to the needs of your project.
Yes. ServerSP offers Cloud VPS hosting in Brazil, with infrastructure in São Paulo, ideal for customers looking for low latency to users, companies, and applications located in Brazil.
A Cloud VPS in São Paulo can improve response times for websites, systems, databases, APIs, and applications accessed mainly by users in Brazil and South America.
We also offer Cloud VPS in Miami, a strong option for international projects, applications targeting users in the United States, or customers looking for excellent cost-benefit with reliable connectivity.
Yes. When ordering your Cloud VPS, you can choose between available locations such as São Paulo, Brazil and Miami, USA, depending on your project requirements.
São Paulo is recommended for applications focused on Brazilian users, low national latency, and a better experience for visitors in Brazil and South America.
Miami is a great option for international projects, applications targeting users in the United States, connections with Latin America, or environments that do not depend exclusively on ultra-low latency within Brazil.
Most Cloud VPS servers are automatically provisioned after the first payment is confirmed, with fast access to the control panel and server details.
In many cases, activation takes only a few minutes. In specific situations, manual review, fraud prevention checks, or additional verification may be required before release.
If there is any delay in provisioning your Cloud VPS, our support team will be available to assist you through the Client Area.
All ServerSP Cloud VPS plans use KVM virtualization, a widely adopted technology for professional virtualized environments.
KVM virtualization provides isolation between virtual machines, compatibility with Linux and Windows operating systems, strong performance, and greater control over the server environment.
This allows each Cloud VPS to operate as an independent server, with its own operating system, root or administrator access, and resources defined according to the selected plan.
Yes. ServerSP Cloud VPS plans use SSD NVMe storage, offering faster read and write performance compared to traditional disks.
NVMe storage is recommended for dynamic websites, databases, online stores, web applications, APIs, and systems that require fast response times.
To maintain stability for all customers on the infrastructure, disk performance may follow technical limits defined by each plan and fair usage policies.
We use enterprise-grade processors such as Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC, depending on the infrastructure available at each location.
The vCPUs are sized to deliver reliable performance for websites, applications, databases, hosting panels, email servers, VPNs, and other services running in a cloud environment.
If your project requires more processing power, more RAM, additional storage, or a custom configuration, contact our team to check available upgrade options or dedicated server solutions.
Yes. Cloud VPS plans support multiple operating systems, including Linux distributions and, when available for the selected plan, Windows images.
The control panel allows you to install or reinstall the operating system easily, choosing from the available options during the order or reinstall process.
You can also use remote access, noVNC, or the recovery console to manage the server in specific situations.
Yes. Cloud VPS servers are delivered with administrative access to the operating system.
On Linux systems, the customer receives root access or a user with administrative privileges. On Windows systems, access is provided through an administrator user, according to the installed image.
With this access, you can install applications, configure services, adjust permissions, manage the firewall, create users, and administer the server according to your project requirements.
Yes. You can request upgrades for resources such as vCPU, RAM, storage, and IP addresses, depending on infrastructure availability and the commercial options available.
An upgrade is recommended when your website, application, database, or system starts requiring more performance from the cloud server.
Important: due to virtualization and storage limitations, it is not possible to reduce disk size after expansion. For this reason, we recommend evaluating your storage needs carefully before requesting changes.
Yes. Cloud VPS plans include a dedicated IPv4 address and IPv6 support, according to the conditions of the selected plan.
A dedicated IPv4 address allows you to point domains, configure services, host websites, use control panels, and manage applications independently.
IPv6 provides modern connectivity and is recommended for projects that want compatibility with the next generation of internet addressing.
Yes. Cloud VPS servers include a control panel for basic virtual machine management.
From the panel, you can view server information, reboot the VM, reinstall the operating system, access the console, check access details, and perform actions available according to the selected plan.
This panel is designed for Cloud VPS infrastructure management. The administration of applications, websites, databases, and internal operating system services remains the customer’s responsibility.
The backup service, when ordered or available with the plan, creates copies of the Cloud VPS to help in cases of failure, accidental deletion, operating system issues, or restoration needs.
Cloud VPS backups are mainly intended for server or virtual machine recovery and do not replace your own backup routine for applications, databases, individual files, or hosting accounts.
Backup options may include, depending on the selected plan:
For critical projects, we also recommend maintaining your own backups of applications, databases, and important files.
Yes. ServerSP provides basic protection against network-layer DDoS attacks, such as L3 and L4 attacks, with monitoring and automated measures to preserve infrastructure stability.
For attacks that affect network quality or put other customers at risk, temporary mitigation, traffic limitation, or null route actions may be applied depending on the severity of the detected traffic.
For application-layer protection, such as HTTP flood, bots, and L7 attacks, we recommend using specific solutions such as WAF, CDN, or Cloudflare.
Cloud VPS plans include traffic without a fixed monthly transfer quota, but they are subject to a Fair Usage Policy, also known as FUP, to ensure network stability and quality for all customers.
Excessive usage includes continuous or recurring link saturation, traffic incompatible with the plan profile, network abuse, or any significant impact on the shared infrastructure.
If usage is identified as harmful to the network or other customers, technical measures may be applied, such as temporary bandwidth limitation, operational adjustments, a request to adjust usage, or a recommendation to move to a more suitable plan.
By default, outbound traffic on port 25 is blocked on Cloud VPS servers to reduce abuse, prevent spam, and protect the reputation of the network.
If you have a legitimate need to send emails directly from the server, you may request a review for port 25 release through support.
All requests are reviewed individually. Release is not automatic and may be denied in cases of risk, abuse history, inconsistent registration details, or failed security checks.
Yes. You can use your Cloud VPS to host websites and install control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, CyberPanel, CWP, aaPanel, and other solutions compatible with the selected operating system.
The Cloud VPS provides administrative access to the server, allowing you to install and configure the hosting panel according to the vendor’s documentation.
Commercial panel licenses, internal configurations, account migrations, service optimization, and environment administration are the customer’s responsibility, unless a specific additional service is contracted.
Yes. A Cloud VPS is a strong option for WordPress, WooCommerce, online stores, business websites, portals, landing pages, and web applications that need more performance and control than shared hosting.
With NVMe storage, dedicated resources, and root access, you can configure cache, database services, web server settings, PHP, Redis, firewall rules, and other optimizations according to the project’s needs.
For better performance, we recommend properly configuring the operating system, web server, database, security rules, and cache strategy.
No. Cloud VPS plans are provided as unmanaged services.
This means ServerSP is responsible for the infrastructure, connectivity, virtualization, and availability of the contracted environment, while the customer is responsible for operating system administration, applications, updates, internal security, personal backups, and server configurations.
Tasks such as website installation, email configuration, database administration, internal firewall setup, application optimization, and operating system troubleshooting are not included in the standard support scope of an unmanaged Cloud VPS.
Technical support is provided through the Client Area by opening a support ticket.
Our team can assist with issues related to Cloud VPS infrastructure, service availability, network, control panel, provisioning, reinstallations, and the basic operation of the virtual machine.
Since the service is unmanaged, internal administration of the operating system and installed applications remains the customer’s responsibility.
Yes. Additional IP addresses may be requested depending on availability, technical justification, and the current IP allocation policy.
Additional IPs may be used for specific needs such as separated services, network configurations, distinct environments, legacy SSL, specific applications, or other technically justified scenarios.
IPv4 availability is globally limited, so additional IP requests may require review and approval.
We offer up to 30 days of Satisfaction Guarantee, according to the conditions defined in our refund policy.
We recommend reviewing the full terms before ordering to understand the criteria, deadlines, exceptions, and eligible situations.
Additional services, licenses, IP addresses, upgrades, customizations, or on-demand resources may have specific conditions according to the contracted terms.
